How come the 3DS has horrible support and no games coming out for it?

It is kind of strange that someone would think a system that is 4+ years old ISN'T an aging system.  The 3DS is definitely past its prime, yet the OP makes it seem like it's not.  Even if it was 3 years old and on its 4th year, that's still half (or more) way through its life cycle.
