How come the 3DS has horrible support and no games coming out for it?

People that keep saying its 4th, we are in 3ds's 5th year.

2011= 1st Year
2012= 2nd Year
2013= 3rdYear
2014= 4th Year
2015= 5th Year (starting Feb/March)

Will continue support in its 6 year as well going by FE:if in West, and a couple japanese announced i think 2016
