Nintendo has the right to do whatever the hell they want with footage from their products. They had the total right to take down the videos. That doesn't make them less old-fashioned regarding their policies. I think they should ease up their policies. But think about this: Joe said he had a lot of fun playing Wii U with some friends, and he uploaded it so everyone could see it. With the copyright strike, even if all of this is about money or not, it still gives Nintendo a bad image in the eyes of (almost) everyone.
