So they have to up the price of the game to offer us more stuff than a game from 2004? In Fire Emblem a lot of the children's story is only paid for content, which is a fukking cockslap. Well that's just a prespective, I wish they would of had more content in Mario Kart 7 tbh, but I was diffiently dissapointed by MK 8. I mean how is it not a fair comparison? You are being irrational. Its obvious that they had the tracks already finished they just held off on them to make people pay more, and they wouldn't have made the extra $$$ if they released 10 cups in the base game. You're comparing an adequate length of an RPG to tracks in a racing game? Tracks that will get IDK, boring after a while? If you were saying that FF 4, 7 and 13-2 all had the same much content and deph, than that would be bad and I would agree, even despite how different each game is in style. All Mario Karts and Mario Golf's are very similar to prequels, so to compensate for lack of improvement and innovation, they should offer more content. Not saying MK8 isn't innovative, but Sm4sh wasn't innovated in the slightest, and the amount of content in the game was low from the start, its only a matter of time before they release the ultimate smash pack or something with all DLC, costumes and characters, which should have just been the game they released in the first place. KI offers the game for free, and a option to buy all the characters. How is that a comparison when smash 4's roster was already meager to begin with? |
-Game prices change over time...thats just the way things work
-Those stories in Fire Emblem are purely peripheral and in no way are required to enjoy any part of the game.
-Its obvious? Thats pure speculation on your part.
-No, I'm merely saying that there is no reason to expect game length to change over time.
-The improvements and innovation in Mario Kart comes through gameplay, which was extremely strong in Mario Kart 8, offering numerous mechanical improvements as well as the anti-gravity mechanic which added a lot to make the game fresh, make courses interesting and increase the overal fun and newness of the game.
-As for Smash 4, their are more than a whole boatload of major mechanical changes which largely effect how the game plays and how the game feels, in addition to a lot of additional characters and stages. Compared to virtually any fighting game, Smash's content is monstrous. KI was just a comparison for fighter costs...that cost for new fighters is standard across the board.
Wait, did you just say Smash's roster was "meager"? A 51 character roster featuring a ton of characters with widely varying movesets and playstyles is meager?
Pretty sure your trolling now....
