The weekly sales threads are not generating a lot of posts any longer, this is something I have noticed in the past few weeks. OP is right that the numbers should the number one priority; every other function besides sales is more or less exactly the same that you find on any other gaming site.
I still enjoy the site and community but I fear for its future when the debates and discussions are turning more and more away from the core concept of the site; hardware sales numbers. It is of some concern to me that the site it this quiet a mere 1.5 years after all the 8th contenders have hit the market; the sales dicussions were absolutely on fire in the early days and well into 2009 and 2010 for the 7th generation machines and market.
