I also remember having an ability to heal whole party made it much more manageable, and yes you will be running through your consumables as well.

Which star children has the multiple healing ability? Every unit is level 50 and my main characters 55, and I still don't have the hability.

I want to say Warlock or Astromancer and I think Chloe might have it too. Sorry my memory is fuzzy, been about a year since I beat it.
