Not making GT6 on PS4 was Sony's biggest mistake

Well GT6 was and is completely skipable unless you are a pretty huge fan of the franchise same thing applies to Forza 5 since it lacks so much content.

GT6 had no issue with content. It's primary issue was the quality of a portion of the car standard content vs premium content which looked very good. It could've stood to launch in the new gen with fixes. Sony needs to drop the development time down to four years. 

The lack of content is in reference to Forza 5.  GT6 also lacks some content compared to GT5 since it no longer has any endurance races and the B spec mode that got included via an update is completely different from the one in GT5.

Thats to be expected, GT5 got more love from Polyphony for sure. As we'ved agreed upon though, GT7 needs to make up for the ills of GT6.
