What if somebody only wants to experience the story of a game, and therefore will not purchase the game they would otherwise purchase because they can watch it online? Does that not hurt the developer/publisher, who created said content and did not receive money? The cutscenes took people's time and efforts just as much as the gameplay. People were paid to produce said story, cutscenes, music, etc. 


I never heard or read about anyone watching a youtube or let's play vid to watch the story of video game so they wouldn't have to buy it. You're grasping at straw with that post. If you can show some articles/proof, by all means.
