It does not undermine his point. He was just getting it out of the way because he knows how defensive Nintendo fans are. They'll defend Nintendo for a hell of a lot that Most gamers wouldnt even defend their favorite brands for. Nintendo probably has the most loyal fans, period of any brand based on what they internally offer. Sure, a lot of Nintendo fans are speaking up and being vocal against Nintendo's greedy policy against Youtube users but he was actually smart to nip the argument in the bud with Nintendo sympathizers.
He wasn't trolling, either. He was frustrated....and as you can see his eyes were watery in the video because it was emotional for him.
