Why I think SMT x FE will be a lighter version of Persona 5

That wasn't it. The teaser had implications. The teaser showed characters from SMT1, 2, 3, 4, and If as well as characters from various FE games. Then they showed a teaser image from neither series, meant to imply that it was a teaser image specifically for this game, which showed an ominous scene of a modern city at night with ominous music and an ominous screen effect implying that something was wrong.

They then release a trailer after two years to a bubblegum JPop song that doesn't song like anything from any of the games represented in the teaser in an artstyle and art design design that doesn't look like anything from any of the games represented in the teaser with gameplay that doesn't look like anything from any of the games represented in the teaser.

If they didn't want the reaction they got, they shouldn't have released the teaser they released.

1. That does not mean the characters aren't in.

2. Of course it won't represent the same artstyle as the original characters, it is not done by the same artist.

3. Maybe if you shut up and do more research on the freaking 2 minute trailer you will find there are several elements of both series.

4. ITS A TWO MINUTE LONG TRAILER. We practically don't know anything of the game yet.

5. When they released that first trailer, I'm pretty sure all they had to show was the artwork. They had to show something to show us it was a crossover other than a name so they just showed us the main characters of the series.
