I don't know. They could of just invented that definition of gaming because that's what they believe gaming is... story first above all else.
I used to be like that... until I realized just about every story is exactly the same, the characters are the same and you can pick out EVERY damn twist in a game quicker then you can a murder mystery written by the local highschool's drama teacher.
It's natural to think whatever you focus on the most is the most important aspect of whatever you're doing. I don't think he's actually trying to spite the wii. I just think he is mistaken.
