The great irony in it all is that Japan was the one region where the most people were sure the Wii U had a chance at winning. I even recall someone saying that "Japan is the gaming capital of the world and is showing us what is to come in the rest of the world; keep your eye on Japan."

Anyone else is sick of Mummelmann reminding us how there were a bunch of crazy posters with great expectations for the Wii U?

Why are you quoting me to ask that question? My answer is obvious. The amount of reminders is more or less proportional with the amount of unrealistic expectations. Besides; it's really not that bad, do show me at any rate. Post it on my wall if you will.

Calling out the craziest predictions that were written with the outmost certainty and even open mockery of those who opposed them in only right imo, it's not like it's about you, or even anyone else, the quote is from one user and was not aimed at anyone else. If he hadn't wanted anyone to quote him to show the ridiculous nature of his posts; he may have considered not posting the ridiculous things in the first place. There weren't a "bunch" either, there were a few, most of which are either gone or even permabanned.

If I had maintained that the PS4 would sell 600 million units throughout the past 2-3 years; I would consider it only natural that people call me out on my madness, especially if I had been arrogant and dismissive towards others and pretended to have divine insight or prophetic talents.

PS: Your biggest problem is this though; it is relevant to the topic and we're still seeing posters in this very thread saying that the Wii U "fine" in Japan, when it is clearly not, it's selling on par with the 9 year old PS3 at the moment.
