Wii U's fanbase is far too Mario/Zelda oriented anyway.
Support something else for crying out loud.
Star Fox, Devil's Third, Xenoblade, Splatoon ... try something else for a change. It won't kill you.
This is a platform where Nintendo themselves can barely sell anything other than Mario or Zelda themed games. Expand your horizons a bit.
The people really crying about Zelda ... I'll ask you have you honestly tried games like Bayonetta 2 or Captain Toad? Give some thing else a chance.
This is the same fanbase that largely ignored things like Wonderful 101 and even something DKC: Tropical Freeze can't even sell great on it.
The pedestal that the core Nintendo fanatics put Zelda on at the expense of everything else is just silly. To be honest it's not like the last couple of Zelda games were all that great. TP was lacking and derivative and Skyward Sword was a hand holding trainwreck in design terms.
