We're a month behind in the numbers and ioi has been gone for over two weeks, what gives?

The only official numbers come from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo via actual market research companies like IDG, NPD, Gfk, Media Create etc...

 

 

Oh and people above saying VGChartz is being stopped by external forces or something you cannot be more than wrong as VGChartz don't even use their numbers. They just make them up. 

It's a decent enough prediction and gives us a rough idea as to how well each console is doing. People get too hung up on the numbers being a few thousand consoles off and bitch about it so much that it really does seem like the tracking on this site is pure garbage. Well guess what, sweetheart? It isn't. This whole world was built on approximations and trial and error. I don't see why we give this website so much shit for it.
