By 2016 the Wii U will be even more irrelevant than in 2015. Zelda U is the biggest system seller for the Wii U and Nintendo should have struck while the iron was relatively hot. By 2016 the Wii U will be aging hardware(it already is compared to the X1 and PS4) and the opposing consoles will have captured even more of the market and have more games available(Halo 5, Uncharted 4, Gears, huge third party titles ie COD, Battelfield etc). Delaying Zelda is NOT great for the Wii U's future one iota considering their drought filled 2015 and small amount of potential hit games.
