The first is to make sure it is the best game they can make for it. Which people were burned by the decision? The game probably sold double the amount if not more by making that move so general consumers voted with their wallets.
Yes I recall initially there was some outcry about it, but after about 3-4 months of letting the news settle, people got over it. Same thing will happen here and yes IMO Zelda will be a NX title.
Not being able to show the game at all at E3 ... c'mon, where there's smoke there's a full blown fire now, Nintendo so totally moved this to NX.
