But how would that have really changed things? IMO Sega are one of the best PC gaming publishers around and are better than ever before. If they had went PC or mobile back when the Dreamcast was around how would that have changed anything? It wouldn't have made the Dreamcast suddenly sell better or anything would it?

I meant that it could have helped keep Sega relevent through out the years, which honestly I can't say that they are right now. They still release a good game every now and then but they are more often ignored or made fun of these days.
