I never actually had Nintendogs on either DS or 3DS, but that's partly owing to having a real dog, I'd feel pretty guilty playing with a virtual dog and leaving my real dog unattended, lol. I did play it for about 45 minutes at a friend's house back in the day. If it's free on iOS/Android to start, I'll check it out.
