Not really my type of "game", but I was wondering about this ... how big could Nintendogs + cats be on mobile? And how would it work?
Free 2 Start I guess with one puppy breed and one kitten breed? Then you pay for other types of puppies and kittens? Man, Nintendo could really kill it with this, especially on iOS I think.
The graphics could probably be pretty good too, modern smartphones have more horsepower than a Vita (which is basically an iPhone 5 chip I believe), which is beyond a 3DS, so they could make the dog and cat models even more realistic. It could look quite nice on those HD smartphone displays.
What competetion is Nintendo look at here, are there other good dog/cat sims on mobile? Is the Nintendogs idea too outdated today?
