I can understand and respect your opinion but how many of the 3500+ PS2 games have you played to quickly judge it as a bland and soulless system? it sure had Okami, RE4, Fatal Frame and Devil May Cry which are among your more liked games if I remember right, were they bland and soulless too? have you tried the RPGs it had?

Okami and RE4 were good, but I don't like RPGs, and the PS2 Fatal Frame games were hampered by awkward fixed camera angles and lacked the touch mechanic that made me love the Wii versions.

The controller was an obstacle too; it was overly small and uncomfortable to me.
