| Ajax said: that's the magic of materia, that you could build any jobclass for the characters, eventhough everyone had it's own jobclass in it's stats of course, like Aeris ;s magical power, materia gives you so many options and custumisation that saying every character is the same is a little cheap, plus the characters are all icons themselfs, liek Cloud, Sephiroth, Aeris, Vincet, Rufus, they have there own legacy and following, which you can't see about other casts on a scale like this, Normura's finest work I think |
True, the customization of each character is good, but it's also a double edged sword as WoW pointed out. You don't have a Job system at all, and that irks a lot of Final Fantasy fans who tend to prefer the IX VI way of doing things where each character has a specific ability, like Rage, or Machine.
Still, I think most people who haven't played VI in a while, undersimate it. It's possibly the best game of all time.
...but then again, that can be said for numerous games in the FF series.
I'll admit, the "feel" of VII on some of the earlier dungeons is magnificant, and I've never felt precisely that emotionally involved in a game since then. VII's presentation is simply magnificant.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
