Again, 8th gen games are primiarly just using the specs for superior presentation. The only game I've played on 8th gen that seems too demanding for 7th gen is Dead Rising 3. I can't recall seeing a 7th gen game quite like that.

Minimum requirements for The Witcher 3. No way would that even dream of running on a 360

No, games can be scaled to be less CPU intensive without impacting core gameplay. No need to debate this.

 

I found this quote in regards to Witcher 3 on 7th gen. "It’s impossible. It would have to be a different game--a smaller game, not an open-world game, or with terrible loading times, with sacrifices in graphics," CEO Marcin Iwinski told MCV India.

Its certainly possible if they were willing to make huge scarifices in the graphics. Maybe it would have Witcher 1 quality visuals on 7th gen.
