That's not as sad as you might believe. They do the exactly same things each generation so how do they want to impress? You know: Mario kart, smash bros, zelda, 3d and 2d mario platformers etc over and over again for decades... :/

I assume you don't play Nintendo games or follow their games.  Nintendo has a LOT more variety than that.
Gamecube had Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin, Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime, Paper Mario, Fire Emblem, Baten Kaitos
Wii had Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, Pandora's Tower, Rhythm Heaven, more Metroid Prime, more Fire Emblem, more Pikmin, more Animal Crossing, Donkey Kong Country, Wii Sports
Wii U has Xenoblade Chronicles X coming up, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2 and Devil's Third are supported by Nintendo, Splatoon is coming up, Mario Maker is coming up, a Star Fox game is coming up, and more to come.
