Epic's business is
1) Make Unreal Engine
2) Sell Unreal Tournament (insert year)
3) Get licensing fees for Unreal Engine
This relies on graphics, not social interactions. Not new interfaces.
The Wii doesn't concentrate on BESTEREST GFX EVAR. Of course Epic is uninterested in the Wii.
The moment someone makes an engine that is built for social interaction and interfaces instead of "pushing the graphics envelope," Epic is in trouble.
There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.
