Skulls of the Shogun is a cartoony, medieval version of Advance Wars more than Fire Emblem. And considering I've never heard of Partia, Fire Emblem wouldn't come close to touching Clash of Clans market.

You have quite a skewed view on mobile gaming. This conversation isn't going to go anywhere, even when it is shown time and time again that strategy based gaming is very popular on mobile is isn't all just Clash of Clans, even though you try to portray it to be.

Good luck with the thread.

Edit - Oh damn, you're not even the thread creator, lol.

I checked the sales of Partia. It has 500,000 downloads for 3$. The lowest selling international Fire Emblem is Radiant Dawn at 0.49 million, so just about equal sales. Partia would have a profit about 1.5 million. I don't know the price of Radiant Dawn, but Wii games here are 15-20$. That's a profit of about 7.5 million. Intelligent Systems stated that if Awakening wouldn't sell at least 500,000 units, the series would be shelved. That means that Fire Emblem wasn't being profitable.

Considering that Fire Emblem is a niche title even on Nintendo systems, and similar games have not sold well on mobile, tells me that a full fledged game on mobile wouldn't work. Something more like a prologue would be better.
