Hate to be a cynic, but we've gone two years with no information. No information since it was revealed. No information since the teaser with no ingame assets. We should already be assuming the worst.

We should be expecting it to be coming out this year, not hoping that it'll be talked about this year.

Cancellation? If so, I don't think so. We could assume that the game was announced to fill the lack of RPGs on Wii U (as well of games). Perhaps the development of the game just started a bunch of months before of its announcement. Heck, they could have started the project after the reveal. So, in short, it was just vaporware from Nintendo.



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
