Wait, tell me again how a niche game in the west (MH) and a remaster (MM) is suppose to be giant system sellers for a system with a slight upgrade from its predecessor with no notable exclusives at its launch? And don't forget that MH and MM both can be played on the original 3ds...

Monster hunter highly rated pretty much equalled the orders sales.  MM apparently one of the best games ever sold a shit load.  TLOUR moved a lot of ps4s and it's a re release.

The 3DS had a new model.  Yes only 2 weeks but months of pre orders are included.  It's also twice as cheap and the ps4 is still at launch price.

This is one hell of an achievement and definitely worth mentioning.

Monster Hunter being highly rated doesn't mean much cause the series doesn't sell much at all in the west... And MM sold a shit load cause of the high userbase... TLOUR sold a lot of ps4s cause there wasn't many people with ps4's to begin with...

The 3ds also has a 50+ million install base and n3ds launched with games that doesn't require the n3ds and therefore, there is no reason to buy a n3ds... And 2 weeks vs 2 months... Lets be honest, even with months (its actually less than one month cause the Nintendo Direct for n3ds in the west was January 14) of "pre-orders," thats just nonsense logic

And its not an achievement at all when ur comparing 2 weeks vs 2 months of a handheld thats going on its 5th year with no high profile exclusives to sell the system... The ps4 has a low install base comparatively and its the best console that you can get in the 8th gen so of course its going to sell well against a system with high installbase thats going on its 5th year with no notable exclusives to sell the upgrade...
