As long as they reach 60-80 million units sold in hardware, yes. An unified library would mean that the people who usually only buy the handheld could be interested in the home console, and they could try even erase the price difference between handheld/home console (EVERYTHING LESS THAN 40€ PLEASE, help all the wallets of the world). The only problem I can think of the fusion idea is the distribution of games. Digital has no problem, but how would they put the games on a phisical format and functional with both platforms? Mini CDs, Cartridgs, digital copy free with the cartrige/disc...?
