There is no "bridge" to an audience like this, they may be able to play a handful of very, very rudimentary games (ie: Wii bowling only because they have a real life frame of reference from actual bowling, and maybe some smartphone touch games that are super basic) and that's about the extent of where their gaming ability ends.

They got the hang of those games fairly quickly. I wouldn't completely underestimate the gaming skills of the elderly. Maybe instead of throwing them in randomly, taking 20 min to teach them controls would mean the world to them.


They're terrible at COD, lol, any 8-year-old would destroy them. Most of them can't even get the basics of moving and shooting/aiming simultaneously down, the old lady in the pink shirt never even moved her character. 

They were able to walk around certain areas in GTAV ok, but only for the non-action sequences.
