It wouldn't really need a ton of third party support, because the beauty is all of Nintendo's developer support in a Fusion setup is concentrated on one platform. So they could supply all the games themselves if they had to.
But I think if mobile chips are getting this powerful and available in a consumer format already today ... it does create an interesting issue for Japanese 3rd parties at least .... I think if Square-Enix for example could make a Nintendo Fusion/4DS version of Final Fantasy XV ... they probably would and it would probably outsell the PS4 version in Japan.
The question is can such a level of tech be delivered in a handheld? I'm starting to lean towards yes. No doubt it would have to be at a scaled down resolution (960x540 resolution for portable play?) and maybe some effects scaled back, but if Nintendo can get a 500 GFLOP-ish chip in a portable form factor ... *whistles* things start to get very, very interesting.
