Considering this thread is about "big exclusive games" and not "internally developed games", yea, you did set the goalpost to your benefit

Another person who is mistaken. Here, let me help you. STAGE says this:

Microsoft has never been a year round exclusives kind of company unless third parties are making games for them. Thats more of a Nintendo and Sony thing. Most of Microsoft's titles are coming in third and fourth quarter.

There are two things to take away from this.

1. Microsoft apparently never ever ever has 1st party games year round. They apparently have outsourced games earlier in the year, and most of their own titles come later in the year.

2. Only Sony and Nintendo apparently have a year round stable of steady 1st party exclusives.

Which is what I challenged. He is the one who set the criteria. Must be an exclusive, and must not be from an outside company. Hope that helps, and this is the last reply I will make on this matter.

Sony and Nintendo do launch a lot of their titles at sporadic times of the year. I think its a mistake that they launch their even some of the mid tier first party at the first and second quarter sometimes, but they do. It just shows how much they have and how willing they are to spread it out. Nintendo is essentially forced to do so with their exclusives because of the lack of third party.

Microsoft on the other hand has an pretty much even share of multiplats with Sony and has been noticed to still launch their games 3rd to 4th quarter. Of course we all know its strategy, but really....is it only that?
