I`m guessing they don`t do this because they don`t see a major reason or need to do so. I also don`t see it as a vital thing. I`m fine with just playing a game and not needing to complete any set challenges programmed to keep me playing. If I like the game enough, and the challenges are fun, I`ll try for it. Some games do have achievements in them, like Zelda: Link Between Worlds and Ninten Land. It doesn`t show it to the world, but that`s okay, they don`t need to be shown.

Never heard of Miiverse? And many games have the option to automatically create a post, if you got an achievement. Other games ask you if you want to post your achievement to Miiverse.

I have actually. I know about that as I see them from my friends, but I figure that wouldn`t be worth bringing up since that wouldn`t satisfy the need and want for trophies for most people.

You're right - but still this is the point that is most interesting. The people claim the achievements bring them more fun to play games - and Nintendo games have them. They claim bragging about them online is cool - and Miiverse allows that. Still they will miss the trophies on Nintendo, as long as it doesn't take the form they are used to. That is interesting from a psychological standpoint.

I guess it`s not the standard systems of PS and Xbox, which lines up your trophies and makes it easy for others to see, so if it`s not like that, then it`s not good enough. Either way, I don`t really like them myself. I can have a bad completionist nature.
