Yes it is. And the comment system there is evem worse. I do use the site though, as they tend to aggregate most of the "news" without the minutiae that Nintendo Everything gives. It's been a nice alternative to Joystiq and Kotaku who seem to focus on even mobile more than Nintendo these days (well, before Joystiq was caput).
Besides...MyNintendoNews often gives us some of the worst articles that lead to some of the best threads...so I say we keep 'em around for the lols.
