Since when has Sony ever had year round exclusives in the first could years. Sony is known for creatig new IP's every generation. They throw out a bunch of them and as the library mounts a handful of them latch on. Were the PS3's first two years that great to me? No. Sony is a long haul type of company. They get stronger in offerings as the generation begins where as Microsoft is better i the beginning, generating hype and gradually it peaks and then drops.

So year round internally developed exclusives are Sony's fortay while Microsoft exclusives come later in the year....

except in the beginning years of a generation, where Microsoft is better. Except apparently not this year.

I am sure platformmaster918 will quote your reply here and berate you for moving the goalposts.

Sony has stated that they have to tone down theAAA development process, which is why they are focusing so much on indies. They outpaced Nintendo and Microsoft by 2011 in new IP development creation (as stated by Gamespot). Thats saying something on top of the fact that they were also delivering known hits to their fans as well. Anyway, I didn't come here to get into this. I am just in agreement that Microsoft tends to focus primarily on 3rd and 4th quarter. Those are their strongest times of the year and this news is nothing new to anyone.
