The last time I got emotionally attached to a character it was Kaim from Lost Odyssey. But its a little strange. I really didn't care much for him when in the game itself. But when he slept and we could see the dreams? It was just text detailing a memory from his past in the form of a dream, but it was incredible. I teared up many times through that. But when the dream was over? I was back to the detachment again. For a while anyway.
