Did I miss an announcement? If not then there will not be a revision. The 970 is designed how it is for a reason. It's a deliberate design and not an error. They will not change it because if it was easy they would've designed it differently in the first place..

It is as easy as using a better memory controller, which is also an insignificant price difference that will only lower over time. With the bad publicity and lawsuit(s) that are bound to happen, I wouldn't be surprised if they offer trade-ins in the future. Sure it won't fix the current hardware, but they could easily fix future units. That or they'll have to start advertising the unit as 3.5 GB which they obviously are avoiding.
