Considering the fact that there's no confirmed release date, there a possibily that Project Cars will get the Watch Dogs treatment, which almost as bad as getting no game at all unless Project Cars turns out to be fantastic

If by "Watch Dogs treatment" you mean it'll be delayed and released after the other versions, that is already confirmed.
