I play mainly on handheld and PC, so I don't really have any need for a console (I couldn't afford supporting three systems in a decent way anyway, nor time to play them all). The only reason I got a Wii last gen was that crazy hype for the machine, and I ended up loving the Wii more than my DS.
If I had a priority list of 7th and 8th gen list, it would be:
-3DS (Owned). I have it already.
-WiiU: I'm so hyped about Splatoon. Other titles I'm interested in are Zelda U, Wonderful 101, Bayoneta 1 and 2, Mario Maker...
-PSP. I know the Vita can play PSP games, but the PSP is cheaper and I can play those patched games, and turn the thing into an emulator. Also, I'm sure the handheld has to be cheap by now.
-Vita. It may not have that much variety, but it has a lot of anime-JRPG. Even if I am awfull at them, I can't ressist them, I love them.
-PS3. The PS3 is going to have more variety than the PS4 for three or four more years. So many games for it. And online free.
-PS4. If I have paid 60€ for a game, I won't pay for online multiplayer, I refuse to do that. Also, the games that it has usually have a PS3 version, and the 8th gen exclusives are not so impressive to me.
-360. Paid online and too much focus on genres I don't really don't care. Multiplats I care about are on PC and PS3, and it's exclusives, again, I don't care.
-XBone. The same with 360, but 360 is cheaper and has more games.
