See the problem isn't just purely length for games this generation is it. I think the 2nd factor which is a more important one, is gameplay. You can talk about games being short in the past, but they had masterful gameplay which caused huge replayability and enjoyment out of beating a game.

And if you have basic gameplay of an FPS/TPS/RPG/etc and it being short experience, ya obviously it won't be worth 60 bucks, not when you have games $10 dollars that absolutely get the 2nd factor right and just as long as these short games are.
