Ohhh I get

People can objectively have a very high opinion of incredibly mediocre games, but they can't objectively have a very low opinion of them. That does make more sense now that I think about it

Ya I think it is only fair if you take off the bottom five and the top five. Which gives this game a review range of 50-80. I think the metacritic total would go just a bit, but still it would be safe to say, this title wasn't met well with critics.
