It's been decent so far. Wii U has had some great exclusives, but software gaps have been a big problem.

PS4 has been decent too. Hard to judge for me right now, because there is around ten games on the system already out that I haven't played yet, but I certainly haven't been disappointed so far. Not with the overall library at least. Exclusives have been lacking so far. Really enjoyed inFamous and currently enjoying Driveclub, but that has been it so far (though looking forward to playing LBP3 at some point). Rest of the year looks better in that regard. Looking forward to Tearaway Unfolded, Uncharted, Bloodborne, Persona 5 and Ratchet & Clank. Hoping Until Dawn turns out decently as well, and hoping even more that Dragon Quest Heroes comes West.

Worst things about the generation of home consoles so far has been the lack of top quality new IP, and the lack of my favourite genre, the RPG. Hopefully the latter will be sorted by the end of this year. I have high hopes for The Witcher 3, Persona 5 and Xenoblade Chronicles X.
