When a single game's quality can affect the company's stock price, investors are probably very keen to know that the product quality is high. Even if sales and profitability aren't currently spectacular.
As others have said, Nintendo's brand, particularly amongst its core consumer base, is particularly strong right now. To an investor, that is worth hearing.
