I somehow agree with you but you should mention that it's game exclusive to the new 3ds and won't run on the 3ds. This is not nit-picking but being correct in this context and makes a huge difference.
In the end we don't know how the port was or will be done, meaning we don't know how much effort is being put into the renedering tech for the port.
