I think the best move for Sony is to "Subsidize and Advertise". The release of a 1TB model as the new standard is somethig they should do by E3. Prices for other components have dropped, and a 1TB HDD is not much more than the 500GB.
With that model in place, and the launch of PS Vue, Sony needs to start up a subsidized sales model. By bundleing PSN services with Playstation hardware Sony can keep making the same, or slightly more on PS4, PS Vita, and PSTV while getting people out the door with Zero Down. There are 200M+ cable boxes in the US, if they can match peoples cable service, and price it the same or lower while getting them a PS4, then they will do very well.
This model would also allow them to take a smartphone like approach. They can contiue to sell stand alone PS4 at $399.99 its entre life. Instead of price drops with each revsion, they can add newer tech, upgade the non gaming components, bigger HDD, more RAM for multiscreen/Multitasking. This would keep PS4 freash for the next 5 years, and allow them time to develope a PS5 that is a huge leap ovr PS4 in the games department. Finally, with that, they can continue the same model, and people on PSN contracts can upgade to PS5 for Zero down. They could even make it a $599.99 unit, and give the people an option to turn in there PS4 to get PS5 at their current rate.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
