I'm a big horror buff, although my personal favorite sub-genre is easily slasher films. I'm a fan of the blood and gore, ever since I was younger and would watch the Friday the 13th marathons on USA (TV channel back in the day).

the babadook is not your thing then...oculus on the other hand is somewhere in between it starts slow then it fucks with your mind.

I'm sure I will still enjoy babadook. It's not like I ONLY watch gore fests. I actually watch a very wide variety of movie genres.
