If anyone is wondering why Jay was banned, here is the ban note we put together:
First off, starting with such a mocking and sarcastic tone is not necessary to get your point across or to voice your displeasure in your ban. Secondly, you try and use past issues of Seece (already handled with the appropriate actions and apologies), Amy (already handled with the appropriate actions and apologies) to somehow paint yourself as a victim of a run-away mod, when it isn't the case at all. Then when confronted with other opinions, evidence, and facts that build up our foundation, you resort to sour grapes to try and discredit the entire thread since it doesn't agree with you (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=7062476). In the same post you then miss the point entirely, even after I explained why you were banned (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=7062471), claiming that we "need thicker skin" and accusing us of acting as lone wolves despite the fact that we already stated that we worked as a team (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=7060968). Then again calling us sensitive and using uncredited sources to try and prove that the ban is laughable (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=7062497). Then again using an already perfectly explained and justified moderation to paint us as (again) over-sensitive and ban-mongers (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=7062521). This is honestly the worst case of handling oneself in a Mod related thread that I have ever seen and is completely unbecoming for any member of this site. You need to learn to back yourself with proper evidence instead of wailing away in the dark in an attempt to find some foundation to stand on.
I appreciate the rest of you for being patient, kind, understanding (to a point
), and meeting the mod team half way to discuss issues. We appreciate all that more than you know, and will do our best to meet you halfway as well. We want to work with you all, as long as we treat each other with decency and respect. That's all we ask.
