Really, I'm just worried, they'll do the modern things with linear corridors and short campaign time

http://www.timetogame.ca/console/playstation-2/game/shin-megami-tensei-persona-3-fes/

P3 has an average of around 65-90 hrs with top tier speedruns clocking in at barely sub 20 and the world record at 15 hours (I don't believe that)

and P4 can easily go upwards of 100+.

I don't need no multiplayer in my Persona, just 100 hr+ playtime.

edit: thx

Wut? they never said that lol, you're talking like if they're completely selling-out and making it like a military shooter...

On the contrary, first bolded refers to FFXIII, later bolded refers to games like Tomb Raider with tacked on multiplyer. Neither are military shooters, both are Modern RPGs. Keep in mind P4 came out for the PS2 and we are on the tailend of the PS3 going in to PS4. With the increasing fanbase, development costs, Sega themsleves pulling out of consoles, those modern tropes are very promising. Why make a 100+ hour game when you could make it 15+ hours, print dat sheit, and still make just as much if not more since they won't have to spend anymore.

That's a very real worry, and they don't have to say anything for it to exist. It's indicative of the times.
