If they give up on 60fps I hope ND put in a 30fps/60fps toggle. 30fps is the standard whilst ticking the 60fps toggle makes all compromises needed to achieve locked 60fps for those who prefer it over aesthetics.
They probably wont do this, but I can imagine this happening with most devs in the next few years as consoles become more PC-like. I personally would be fully for this in every game.
