So far, Nintendo's actions have been encouraging; lots of coverage in general. But the real test will be E3 and launch. However, it doesn't have the pedigree of Zelda to back it up. Xenoblade was a great game but it's just one game; the Zelda franchise in terms of main home console entries has a ton of accolades to its name. So I don't think it will outshine it. In the future, perhaps with Xenoblade 3, I think the two could go toe to toe if the franchise is handled right. But as it stands, I think Xenoblade is too young. |
