Such a neat idea for a thread!
I distinctly remember being wowed by 1943 on the nes. Happened again with the contra games in coop. Moved onto the SNES and was really impressed by super Mario world and Castlevania 4.
The ps1 wowed me with mgs1, ff7, and sotn. The ps2 with god of war and sotc. Finally the ps3 with games like how,3, uncharted, tlou, and killzone 2.
